Sadly for me, Hidden Colours 4 just didn't flow together very well.

Racism and white supremacy will probably ALWAYS be a thing. He's well informed, articulate and passionate about exposing White Supremacy which is still an evil force in contemporary society. I frequently watch Tariq Nasheed on YouTube and unlike my sisters, I like him a lot. I often found myself saying 'eh?' The way the segments jumped around from past to present without any coherent link or sometimes context, was confusing. It was way too long and would have benefited from a narrator and tighter editing. 'Hidden Colors 4' is the latest installment in a series created by author/producer/director Tariq Nasheed, that uncovers the hidden history of people of African descent. Not the CONTENT itself, I'm referring to the way it was structured and how the segments were edited together. After a national independent theatrical opening last week (May 26), 'Hidden Colors 4: The Religion of White Supremacy,' will be released today (June 7) on DVD. Actually it was one of the worst I've ever seen. I love African history so this should have worked for me.

Documentaries by black scholars are my favourite thing and I've watched many. As an African woman who was born and raised in Edinburgh, but now live in London, I'm enthusiastic about acquiring more and more knowledge about ANYTHING black, especially POSITIVE information. There was lots of stimulating and interesting discoveries but the talking heads and melodramatic music with the underlying (black people are good and white people are bad) subtext got annoying after a while. Unfortunately, the format didn't work for me. Our Best Value is 'The Hidden Colors Family Bundle Pack' where you all 4 installments of 'Hidden Colors' all 3 installments of the animated series 'Afro-Man & The Protectors of The Book of Knowledge' for kids and 4 other. I really wanted to enjoy this documentary as it was highly recommended.
